BOOK I OF THE PSALM OF TEARS SERIES

Antigone is a Priestess of a Nation in Africa ravaged by colonization. As she betrays someone close, she breaks the law and finds herself in a battle to save her people from spiritual violence and  genocide.

Marie is a missionary from England, returning to her mother's homeland, she rises in the King's favor and becomes determined to save her people's soul even if it means losing her own.

ANTIGONE: 1884 adapts the stories of Antigone and Jezebel to ask the question "what happens when our own will masquerades as that of God's".

BOOK II OF THE PSALM OF TEARS SERIES

ANN BROWN, AN ENSLAVED BLACK WOMAN, MEETS A WOMAN WHO CHANGES HER LIFE. ARMED WITH ANCESTOR MAGIC, AND COLLECTIVE RAGE, SHE IS FACED WITH A CHOICE THAT SPARKS AN UPRISING THAT WILL CHANGE HER LIFE FOREVER

AN OLD PRIESTESS, SIMPLY CALLED LADY, FINDS A YOUNG BLACK WOMAN AND TEACHES HER THE WAYS OF THEIR ANCESTORS WHILE SECRETLY PREPARING HER PEOPLE FOR A WAR THAT WILL SPAN LIFETIMES.

THE BALLAD OF ANNE BROWN IS THE STORY OF TWO BLACK WOMEN WITH VERY DIFFERENT IDEAS OF WHAT THE ENGLISH WORD "HUMANE" ACTUALLY MEANS.
